We had a blast dying all those Easter Eggs in preparation for the Eighth Annual East Side Easter Egg Excavation! If you want to conduct your own eggsperiment, check out last week’s video for instructions on how to make your own All-Natural Dyes! I’d love to hear all about your East Egg Dying Showdown results in the comments!
*If you’re going au naturale, I recommend using the dyes within a few days of making them. For store-bought dye, I used the Paas classic and it made really bright eggs. Both dyes worked better on the white eggs, especially if you are looking for really vibrant results. Just make sure to give your eggs plenty of time to soak up the pigment, especially with the home-made dyes.
